How to Generate an O-1 Visa Packet with WeVisa

This guide walks you through every step of preparing a full O-1 visa application packet using our platform—from gathering documents to exporting your final submission.

1. Collect & Upload Your Documents
Before starting, gather all documents outlined in our eligibility guides:
Once prepared:
- Go to the Documents tab.
- Upload individual files or entire folders.
- If any file fails to upload, simply retry.
- Duplicate files are automatically ignored.
2. Complete the Forms
- Go to the Forms tab.
- Click Auto-fill.
- The AI scans your uploaded documents to extract all necessary information.
- This may take a few minutes.
- Flip through each form step carefully.
- Confirm the accuracy of all pre-filled fields and fill in any missing information.
3. Prepare the Beneficiary Section
- Open the Beneficiary tab.
- Click Auto-assign.
- The AI identifies documents relevant to the beneficiary (resume, background, biography, etc.).
- Review the assigned documents to ensure they make sense.
- Click Generate Draft to create the beneficiary section text.
- Edit the generated draft if needed and save it.
- You may add/remove documents at any time and regenerate—but note that any manual edits will be overwritten.
4. Prepare the Petitioner Section
- Open the Petitioner tab.
- Click Auto-assign.
- The AI identifies documents describing the petitioning organization and the employment relationship.
- Review assigned documents for accuracy.
- Click Generate Draft.
- Edit, save, or regenerate as needed.
5. Draft Reference Letters
If you already uploaded completed letters, you may skip this step.
To generate new reference letters:
- Open the Reference Letters tab.
- Enter your reference’s name, relationship, and any details to emphasize.
- Select or auto-assign relevant supporting documents.
- Click Generate Draft.
- After reviewing the draft, click Add to documents to save it.
6. Generate the Itinerary
An itinerary is strongly recommended for O-1 petitions, as it outlines dates and locations of proposed employment.
- Ensure your itinerary-related information is included in your documents.
- Select or auto-assign relevant documents.
- Click Generate Draft to produce the itinerary text.
7. Select & Draft Your Criteria
O-1 regulations require you to meet at least three qualifying criteria.
Use our guides to help decide which apply:
For each criterion you select:
- Click Enable.
- Click Auto-assign to fetch relevant documents.
- Processing may take several minutes.
- Review the assigned documents and any sub-sections.
- Add, remove, or adjust documents as needed.
- Click Generate Draft.
- Carefully inspect the generated text.
- Edit, save, or regenerate as necessary.
8. Review the Full Letter
- Go to the Review tab.
- Click Generate Letter.
- The AI compiles all sections into a complete support letter.
- Read the full document thoroughly.
- Edit and save any necessary corrections.
9. Export Your Final Packet
When the packet is complete:
- Download your final materials in three parts:
- Supporting letter
- I-129 form (and I-907 if using premium processing)
- Exhibits (all supporting documents)
- You may also download the supporting letter as a .docx file for final adjustments.
- Perform one final review to ensure all forms, letters, and exhibits are accurate.
